Recent Work

Growing up on the Cape, I have always been interested in the impermanent nature of its marshes, waters, and sky—they are recurring elements in my work. However, my paintings are not just an interpretation of the landscape around me. Instead, I use color and imagery to communicate the feeling of a particular time and place— to convey the sense of an experience.
